Charlie is looking to appeal the Life sentence he received for taking Art Teacher Phil Danielson hostage at Hull Prison. Charlie got life with a minimum three year tariff in 2000. Since he is now TEN YEARS OVER those three years, his family, friends and many supporters believe he should be a free man. The Appeal Fund exists to raise awareness for Charlie's case, and to pay for independent reports and other external costs as and when they may arise. 100% of all the money donated to the Appeal Fund goes towards Charlie's fight for freedom.

We think 40 YEARS is long enough for a man who has never taken a life or harmed anyone outside of the prison walls.
